As we announced earlier, the 3rd Snow Algae Meeting (SAM) in Prague (Czech Republic) had to be postponed for 2021 due to the restrictions caused by COVID-19 epidemic.

This virtual SAM is not considered as a serious substitute of the regular SAM, but we see it as an opportunity for interested people to share their recent scientific achievements (showing a few slides) and to discuss some hot topics of snow algae research. Passive attendance is also possible. Participation is free of charge.

We are looking forward to »seeing« you soon, at least virtually!

P.S. Please do not forget that we shall hopefully meet on the regular SAM on 11–12 November 2021. The venue stays the same as originally planned for 2020 – the historical building of the Czech Academy of Sciences in the centre of Prague.
